Mr. McCall was originally board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1981, and has been recertified for every five-year period thereafter. Original certification included attorney and judicial confirmation of qualifications as a specialist and 60 hours of continuing legal education prior to taking and passing an extensive written examination confirming his expertise in handling all areas of family law, including complex legal issues and substantial estates.

Richard V. (Dick) McCall was born and bred a Baylor Bear as his late father, Abner V. McCall, was Dean of the Baylor Law School, and President of Baylor from 1961 - 1981. His wife, Jill Harvey McCall, also a lifetime Wacoan, is a Baylor graduate and has been the Executive Director of Compassion Ministries - Waco, a transitional housing facility for families, for the past 20 years. Dick and Jill are the proud parents of two children and four grandchildren.
Mr. McCall has had a thriving practice for over 40 years and has been privileged to have represented hundreds of clients during one of the most trying times in their lives. He strives to represent his clients in a vigorous, ethical manner, thoroughly preparing each case and determined to help his clients reach a successful conclusion during settlement negotiations, or in court, when necessary.
In his spare time, Mr. McCall enjoys spending time with his family and friends in various activities, being in the outdoors hunting and fishing, volunteering at Compassion Ministries assisting residents with their issues, and serving on the Volunteer Services Council at the Waco Center for Youth.
